Don't you think it's time to do something for yourself for a change? How many times have you woken up and realised that you want a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle? I once hear a man have a family saying - "If you really want to grow trees, pray for rain, but don't neglect to water your seeds". And from the day I heard it til this very day, I still hold that quote close to me, because it has so much truth behind it. If you want to be successful, you can't hope it's going to happen. You have to go out there, and do something about it. But firstly, lets look at why people don't find what they desire. Well, the number one reason on why people fail is because they don't do anything. They don't get stuff done. The reason why the majority fail is not because of opportunities, education, talent, or who they know. It's because the majority have rubbish work habits. It's easy. To become motivated for exercise, and to discover a healthier you, the most important thing you need to become is a Dreamer. You need to have dreams, to know what you want in the future, and to know where you're aiming. There's no point in running 3km every morning if you act like it's a chore, and that you have to do it to lose weight. Because the simple fact is, you're mental fitness isn't becoming any better as you're not enjoying what you're doing, and in 2 weeks' time you'll miss a morning run, and you'll end up never doing it again because you can't find the motivation to keep moving forward. Dreamers set out what they want to do in the future. They put pen to paper and say, 'I want to play soccer for Australia', or 'I want to lose 10 kilos in 5 weeks'. They don't just think about it and leave it at that, because they realise, it gets you nowhere. They analyse a set plan on paper and work out what they have to do to become greater; to reach their dreams. Anything is possible, you just have to put your mind to it, and enjoy what you are doing. Dreamers think about what activities they would like doing to reach their goals. Don't be content with boring long runs, or buying a gym membership when you don't even know how the equipment works. Think outside the box, 'I want to go Rock Climbing', or 'I want to enter a Triathlon', because that's what Dreamers do. But they don't stop there. What about the way you eat? Real weight loss is made in the kitchen, everyone knows that. Eating Maccas and KFC all day is going to get you nowhere. Research shows that it makes you sluggish throughout the day, and it's simply not good for you! Dreamers go to the supermarket and discover new and healthy foods; they go online and look up new recipes; and they buy cook books and find new and creative ways on how to eat fresh and healthy food, that will keep them sustained for the whole day, unlike sugary snacks that make you more hungry that what you were when you ate it. So what do Dreamers end up achieving? Well, to put it simply, they achieve their own dreams, and reach their goals. Even if the odds are against them, they keep at it and do what they love; living an active and enjoyable lifestyle. And more importantly, Dreamers believe. Believing that you can reach your dreams is an important part of your success. It gives you the drive and the motivation to take action towards the achievement of your goals. Of course, if you have the confidence in yourself, you can achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve. So stop living in the past and get active, instead of lying on the couch watching TV!
