Author Comment / Biography:
I was raised as an only child by my mother and father. Even in my youngest memories I remember the unique religious practices. They practiced various forms of occult philosophy and spirituality. Growing up I did not participate; I remained skeptical. We all led a charmed life and got along perfectly, respectful of religious and spiritual differences. It was not until I became an adult an entered the university that I became more interested in the spiritual world.
When I finished my Masters and began to work on my PhD thesis (in research psychology) was when I began to ponder William James in depth. This was also when I experienced my first touch of real magick. A colleague invited me to a Golden Dawn group and I participated in a ceremony. I will not say exactly what we did, but it changed my life.
After finishing my PhD I began a lecture circuit. Not for psychology, but rather for emphasizing spiritual and metaphysical research in universities. Today I travel, give lectures and provide information about psychic phenomenon, real magick, and occult themes of all types.
