Adobe, one of the giant in application that beggar description, made it public in the month of May that it would cease the developments regarding one of its creation Fireworks CS6. However, this does not apply to fixes aiming at security and bugs. It is believed that the feedback has been resonating with petition to continue it. However, it is unable to influence who is at the helm of affairs i.e. Chief Executive Officer. So, one should be able to read on the wall that it will be no longer available for aspirants and fans. A Bit Late There are many computer geeks who are lamenting on this untimely decision of the Adobe but it is also true that it is of no use in crying over spilt milk. This used to be a handy tool in the hands of web site designers. The web designers of reputation would not come to down to free or cheap plethora of software available in the ever expanding internet market. They would only satisfy with it. World Without It Though, it is generally regarded as extolling that whoever did not try this software actually did not try to live in present and remained complacent in past. And it also cast doubt whether those has any inclination to progress and no penchant for learning on the other hand. The defunct Firework would leave HTML wholly at the mercy of users, far better than its equally popular peer Photoshop. However, as we are unable to do vivisection of images – slicing of images - so most of the current good practices remain out of reach for us, designers. Firework, just like Illustrator, is embedded with feature to export CSS but with later one can write CSS with incredible speed and accuracy. Moreover, the feature that attracts the greatest part of support for its continuation is that mockips are prototyped efficiently and that this feature is its prime forte. On the other hand, Photoshop is able to equate its capacity of taking snaps of statistics websites. Assumptions It is in the air that Firework is ripped features will be embedded into Photoshop and Illustrator. But in my view it is crying for moon as these are dissimilar to each other. Rather it may arise the chance of ruffling these superb tools only for the sake of being in good graces of Firework’s fans. More over these have top notch programs in form of vector and raster. Replacement? The beta versions of Reflow and Animate have appeared on the horizon and the start seems to be omen for a good beginning. One should also bear in mind that there is no scenario of comparison. However, the team behind, equipped with the hindsight in reference to Fireworks, would no stone unturned to make people forget the Fireworks. Regarding, another long term established tool like, Flash is to stay as its uses are not outdated yet. Its platforms like AIR, mobile and gaming apps still have promising perspectives. It is thought that alone Flash Builder can suffice.
