Perhaps the biggest advantage of working with a mentor is that you will not have to worry that your career is going nowhere. The wisdom of a mentor will be your guide as you move forward in your own career. 4. Don’t avoid changing careers. If your company right now doesn’t offer many opportunities for you to grow personally and professionally, then it makes sense to look around for another place to render your services. There is no point in serving a company that has nothing better in store for you.
