Smoking has become a major problem in our society. Smoking and tobacco is taking more lives than other diseases. This has become a major factor in the present times. The problem has acquired alarming proportions with more people getting addicted and succumbing to the habit. This is where the quit smoking program videos have come to the rescue. There are organizations that are engaged in creating high level of anti-tobacco awareness in the society. These organizations that are involved in uprooting the menace of tobacco from the society. This awareness and 'awakening' has caused much benefit to the society. The smoking cessation success figures speak of themselves. So there has been an increase in anti-tobacco awareness. Tobacco causes diseases that are extremely dangerous. They are hard to cure in the present times. For example, there is cancer which is a deadly disease and has no almost no cure till now. This is reflected in thousands of patients getting admitted daily in hospitals. There is lot of expenditure on the treatment and still, in most cases, patients succumb. So there needs to be a strong campaign against tobacco use and smoking. To the relief of society, now there are organizations which are are creating consciousness against smoking and tobacco use. These organizations rely on a number of methods to propagate their campaign. There are anti-smoking videos, for example, which are designed to motivate the youth for quitting smoking. The initiatives of these organizations are two pronged. There are two types of objectives under the quitting programs of these institutions. One is to motivate the youth to quit smoking which is a slow process but which has to be performed arduously. The other motive or objective of the campaign is to deter the young from entering the world of smoking at all. This is highly paying because under this program, young ones are targeted and made to know the bad effects of smoking so that they do not take up the habit of smoking at all and remain smoke free all through their lives. The success rate of the anti-smoking campaigns has been high. The teenagers and youth are told about the bad and even disastrous effects of smoking. They are educated through various means to stay from smoking. The motive is to create a strong level of awareness and education among kids. This is done to create a high level of awareness through direct and indirect ways so that the young do not even attempt to smoke. The author is engaged with anti-smoking venture and caused high smoking cessation success rates among public at different schools and institutions all over America.
