I want to talk to you about testing for police jobs. This is an important part of the hiring process that you're going to have to go through. Most people assume that they're going to have to just apply and go through an interviewing process to get a job, but the police don't do that. Basically hundreds of people will apply for a single job, so they have the luxury of giving a hard test to everyone and fail most of them. In the end they'll be left with the best of the best and that is who they'll interview. Since most people fail the test, you're going to have to do well. I'm going to talk to you about testing for police jobs. A lot of people are blindsided by this test when they read the first question. Calling this a test usually gives you the wrong idea. You think about the tests that you've done in high school, but it isn't like this. The test is hard and deliberately designed to make you put the wrong answer. I've heard of some people describe this as a test on solving riddles and it can seem like that. Testing for police jobs is hard, so you have to make sure you put in a lot of time studying. Don't underestimate this. There is no shame in over studying because when you get the job, it won't matter. Questions are very application oriented, so they are more interested in the application of behaviors rather than objective facts. Keep that in mind while you're studying.
