I wanted to talk to you about police school testing and what you're going to face when you take it. I think the number one complaint that I've heard from people after they take the test is that it wasn't what they expected. Calling this a test can really distract people because they naturally think of tests they took in high school. In high school your teacher was objectively measuring your aptitude. The police aren't here to do that. They're going to try to put you through a hard test and make you put the wrong answers. They need the best of the best, so they're not going to make this easy. I'm going to talk to you about the police school testing that you'll face. The first thing you need to understand is that they mark you on more than just the questions. As an officer, you're going to have to write reports on practically everything you do. That may not sound like a big deal, but they're going to have to be up to a standard of a court room. Lawyers and judges are going to be viewing it, so you need excellent skills with your writing. Pay attention to what you write on the exam because you're probably going to be marked heavily on it. Police school testing can almost seem like you're getting asked riddles. That is due to the fact that often being an officer is like a riddle. You'll question a victim and get a really weird story.
