Kimberly Clark, the makers of Huggies Diapers, is the number two leading brand of diapers and a trusted name in baby supplies. Throughout the years, they have continuously evolved their product line to meet the changing needs of parents. One such product that I am going to discuss is the Huggies Newborn Gentle Care diapers, which is a Huggies product created for newborns weighing under eighteen pounds. First and foremost, the Huggies Newborn Gentle Care disposable diapers are extremely soft. They have what is named a Cuddle Weave technology that is cottony soft. They really feel comfy and accommodate for a safe sensation for your newborn. This is very important for a newborn, since they have such soft skin. What impressed me very much was an attribute that Huggies calls the U-Shaped Umbilical Cord Opening. Basically, the Huggies Newborn Gentle Care baby diapers are designed with a "U" shaped front up top so as to not get in the way with a baby's healing belly button. Very smart indeed. I am surprised other diaper brands have not conceived of this type of diaper design, because it adds gentle protection from abrasion. Most importantly, I was really impressed with the leak protection that the Huggies Newborn Gentle Care provides. They are very absorbent and created no mess. They really do live up to the claim of ultimate leak protection. Plus, I had no problem whatsoever with leak protection overnight. I must conclude that the Huggies Newborn Gentle Care baby diapers are a great choice for families with a newborn. You will enjoy the fact that they fit really nice, don't leak, and that they are very soft. I'm a budget stretcher just as most of you, so the higher price might deter you from giving these a try. But after trying these diapers and thinking about the fact that they last longer, provide less headaches and more comfort for your newborn, I have concluded that they are worth a couple more cents per diaper.
