Ping has announced details of a new iron design called Ping i20 for sale. The new set will replace the i15 clubs and sit between the players’ S56 and more forgiving ping g20 irons for sale offerings. There are two stock shafts available in the new Ping i20 design – a Ping CFS steel shaft and a graphite TFC 169i option. It is aimed at players searching for a compact, classic look but with a little more forgiveness in the longer irons. Ping irons don’t normally feature a ferrule, but these do and, combined with the black and silver cavity, this creates a classy look. The visuals will attract the attention of those who might not normally opt for Ping. Ping has given its cheap Ping i20 irons a low-glare satin chrome finish as well as a traditional ferrule to create a classic look. The long irons are designed to be slightly larger, higher launching, and more forgiving. The smaller short irons feature less offset and should improve distance control. Tungsten toe weights have been added to the head to offer perimeter weighted forgiveness. Ping offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. The feel is solid rather than soft, but extremely consistent. These do create a slightly different sound – and therefore feel – compared to forged ping g15 irons for sale at a similar price point, but not in a particularly bad way. The finish on these i20 irons is wonderful and creates a very appealing look. The top line was very neat and tidy without being too intimidating. This is a fantastic all-rounder that will appeal to many different types of player.
