This fort is of high historical importance and is thus a very famous tourist attraction. Situated on a hill, the Mirani Fort Muscat served as a great vantage point and as a great defence location. There are also twin forts located within the complex that serve as a tourist attraction as well, so make sure you visit them as well. This place will show you how the country built its defence and will take you back in time to an era that we know very little about.
