Bryan Canavan is about sharing his love of magic, illusion and the paranormal with new audiences and the next generation of up and coming magicians. Through him the future and present of magic can be seen, with a nod to its history as well. He has become a conduit for all things magic and magic related. Through him (and his website) you will find resource after resource geared toward keeping the passion for magic alive and burning. But most of all, Bryan wanted to be a real magician just like the one his mother took him to see in Las Vegas. He wanted to be famous and have everyone cheer and applaud like they did for his hero David Copperfield or Siegfried & Roy. But how does a boy grow up to be like those famous magicians? Hailing from a poor family living on the outskirts of the village Port Doughlas, Bryan had no exposure to the outside world. Both his parents used to travel miles to teach music at a small primary school, the only means of livelihood for them. Bryan was left with his two younger siblings under the care of his granny. Music became his only other companion in those days. He used to engage himself for hours end learning music from his parents. At an age when toys were the main necessity for kids, Bryan’s only toy was the radio. He used to tune into several stations listening to music of all kinds and genre. This was his only source of exposure to the world outside. From the world of music comes a prominent name Bryan Canavan. Coming from a background where music was a ‘breath of life’, it is but natural for Bryan Canavan to be endowed with such a talent. Life for him started with music and he went on to pursue a career with it. Be it in schools, colleges and universities music was always the main subject for him. He enclosed himself in this world of music bringing out its very essence in his own unique style. A musician, a composer, lyricist Bryan Canavan has it all. We have a talented young man here who knows nothing beyond the world of music. Bryan Canavan is an enigma, but not in the traditional sense of the word. While many magicians have come and gone, he is attaining immortality along a different path. He is not a magician out and about showing off his dance moves right before he cuts the Statue of Liberty in half or grandly making his assistant turn into an orangutan. http://bryancanavan.com.au/bryan-canavan-on-magic/
