1. LED Luminance Luminous Intensity is used to define the luminance of LED. An international unit of luminous intensity can be described in Candela per square meter (1000ucd=1mcd; 1000mcd=1cd, ucd means micro-Candela; mcd means milli-Candela). The indoor LED luminous intensity is generally 500ucd to 50mcd while the outdoor is normally 100mcd to 1000mcd, or even above 1000mcd. For example the t8 led lights, during the day, the lumeter can detect the luminous intensity automatically, and the system will adjust the power of the tube to save energy. 2. Luminous Flux Luminous flux is the sum of the emitted light in every second, and it is often used as an objective measure of the useful power emitted by a light source, and is typically reported on the packaging for light bulbs, although it is not always prominent. The SI unit of luminous flux is the lumen (lm). It indicates that the more luminous, the larger number of lumens. Some frugal consumers commonly make comparisons between the different light bulbs' luminous flux which can provide an estimate of the apparent amount of light the bulb will produce. And it is useful in comparing the luminous efficacy of incandescent with fluorescent bulbs. 3. Average Lifespan It means the hours reckoned before 50% of a batch of lamps being damaged. If the lights are excellent in quality, it will have the long lifetime, especially for the led tube bulbs. 4. Color Temperature The color temperature of a light source is the temperature of an ideal black body radiator that radiates light of comparable hue to that of the light source. Color temperatures over 5,000K are called cool colors (blueish white), while lower color temperatures (2,700–3,000 K) are called warm colors (yellowish white through red). 5. Glare Glare is an important factor which may have an influence on lighting. It is a kind of uncomfortable feeling when the bright light such as direct or reflected sunlight or artificial light such as car headlamps at night is in the field of vision. The angle between the task and the glare source and eye adaptation belong to the factors which have significant impacts on the experience of glare.
