Snowdonia is often called 'the UK's number one activity centre', and for good reason - the varied landscape of forestry, mountains, open countryside, rivers, lakes and coast provide plenty of opportunities for enjoying adventurous outdoor activities. There are dozens of adventure activities providers in the region, but the following all have something important in common: they all provide activities that can be booked through Snowdonia's Tourist Information Centres using a special booking hub. Surf-Lines Surf-Lines offer a number of exciting activities and adventures, most of which involve water in some way. Kayaking and canoeing, stand up paddleboarding (SUP), coasteering (a combination of scrambling, climbing, cliff jumping and swimming), rock climbing, lake swims, sit on top kayaking - these are all available through Surf-Lines, with some activities suitable for children as well as complete beginners. Start with the 'Little Zipper' which reaches speeds of 40mph, before progressing on to the Big Zip.
