If you have chosen cookie dough for your next fundraising effort you are not alone. Many church groups, schools, sports teams, and other groups are choosing cookie dough to earn the money their group needs. Now that you have sifted through the cookie dough fundraiser companies it is time to look at the ways you can increase your chances of a successful outcome. Here are 5 tips for selling more cookie dough in your next fundraiser: - Throw a cookie dough party. To pull this off you will need to get some of the cookie dough ahead of time, bake it up, and let people enjoy. This gives them a chance to taste just how good the cookies are. Your expense here will be minimal, but it will give you an opportunity to earn a lot of sales. This is why home parties that sell products have been so successful for decades.
- Let people know why you are raising the funds. If people know there is something specific that your group needs the funds for they are going to be more inclined to help support your efforts. If you need new uniforms, bus transportation to an event, or whatever it is, let the people know. It gives the fundraiser more of a personal touch and they will feel more inclined to make a purchase.
- Talk up the benefits of buying cookie dough. Cookie dough makes a great thing to purchase and it is important to explain to them why, which includes that everyone loves cookies and it makes making fresh baked ones a breeze. Plus, the cookie dough is all natural, devoid of many of the nasty ingredients found in store bought cookies.
- Offer an incentive to your top sellers. If you have a group of people who will be selling for you there is no better way than to motivate them than to offer a prize or two to the top sellers. Pick something they are interested in and that will really get them moving, such as a Kindle or iPod.
- Suggest ways people can use the cookie dough. Many people will automatically assume they don’t need the cookie dough. Perhaps they are watching their weight, are diabetic, or have any other number of reasons for not purchasing. Always suggest to them that it makes great gifts for teachers, family members, and those they just don’t know what to buy.
Your group can make a lot of profit selling the cookie dough. But it is important to take measures to increase your chances of success. Also, always put on a smile, because a smile will help your sales in ways that nothing else can!
