I see George Zimmerman was found not guilty of second degree murder and/or manslaughter in the Trayvon Martin trial. Some people resent the jury’s findings; others celebrate. Meanwhile the media attempts to keep stirring up the black community—the same black community that celebrated when O. J. Simpson walked—and race hustler, Al Sharpton, fans the flames. Ho hum. Same song, different verse. There were several things wrong in my mind. First of all, Zimmerman calls himself Hispanic, which he is not. He is Latin. For those of you who do not know, a Hispanic is a NATIVE of Portugal and Spain. Therefore, Hispanics like those from all European countries, are so-called white people. Portugal and Spain (and Italy) have just as many redheads, blondes, and blue-eyed citizens as France. The media ignorantly refers to Zimmerman as a white-Hispanic I suppose to indict the white community for Latin on black violence. Where the hell is intellectual honesty with these hacks? Does that mean from now forward the same so-called journalists will refer to Obama as a white-black? Anyway the whole circus was such a load of horse manure that I will refrain from reading or viewing any further coverage. I do not intend to aid and abet either the media or the race hustlers. Meanwhile a seven-year-old black girl was caught in the crossfire of black gang dispute in Chicago, and the media yawns. Blacks are killing each other in that town at an alarming rate, but Sharpton and fellow racist clown, Jesse Jackson, scarcely blink. Probably no money in following up blacks killing each other, you think? BTW, Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the country. How’s that working out? Several years ago my cousin, Steve, was leaving a corner market at night in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A black teenager, making-his-bones as a gang member, shot Steve in the back. Tell me that's not the act of a coward? The incident commanded zero attention, and fortunately Steve recovered because he staggered to the door of a nearby home where a nurse resided. I often wonder what kind of firestorm would have erupted had Steve disarmed the dirtbag and put a slug in the little bastard’s head. I can see it now: it would be the prequel to the Zimmerman-Martin incident with Steve on trial for his life for (Al Sharpton voice) “muurderrinng an “innocent chil’”. The kid’s mother would be on the stand referring to Steve as a white cracker or honky and not a peep would be uttered from the politically correct police. After the Zimmerman verdict was announced, a sympathetic, pandering white couple outside the courthouse vowed on national television to lead protests all over the country “to get justice” for Martin. Hmmm. Justice as defined by whom? Them? Or maybe justice as defined by television viewers who received their only information from networks that marketed the trial with a race-baiting spin? I thought achieving justice is why we have a jury system. You could see the biased media spin from the years-old child-like picture all outlets used for Martin—the one Obama said could be his son. (Now that was a real step-on-your-johnson Biden moment.) More recent pictures of a filled-out, pierced, tattooed thug were never posted. Do I believe the jury got it right? I don’t know. However, after the Simpson and Casey Anthony verdicts I was told I must trust the system, and that’s what I do. I used to work on the west coast at a Fortune 100 corporation alongside a former Los Angeles gang member. I knew him after he straightened out, earned an engineering degree, and became an astute and successful investor in the stock market. He told me young people with a gang mentality do not value life. They believe life is cheap. My friend added that such a person has no compunction about taking another’s life, and they pretty much expect to die on the streets as well. The loss of Trayvon Martin’s life is tragic, but the prevailing attitude described above is even more tragic because it will yield more Trayvons and more cousin Steves until politicians, race-hustlers, and media “experts” stop posturing and work to solve the problem. I hate to say so, but it ain’t gonna happen. They have all learned to be ignorant because it suits their insidious purposes to do so.
