People do not need a 3D trophy every day! But when they do need it, it is often an urgent requirement. As such, businesses that produce or craft such trophies should always engage in constant self-promotion so that they will be foremost in their potential customer’s mind when the need finally arises. Turn your Products In to Their Own Advertisements Each time you produce a 3D trophy, make sure your label is placed elegantly somewhere on the back of the product. Previous customers who liked your product may be able to find you easily just in case they or their friends need something just like it. The most inexpensive way to do this is by the use of stickers: you can print labels of your own design using a high-quality laser or inkjet printer, or you can have the label made by a traditional printer. But a rule of thumb when doing this is to stay classy or tasteful and avoid becoming tacky as much as possible—there is such as thing as blatant over-self-promotion. Maximise your Window Display If your office or shop is located in an area that receives a high volume of pedestrian or vehicular traffic, one of the best things you can do is use your walls or windows to showcase your service and products. People who pass by your shop will instantly know that you can create an excellent 3D trophy – the proof is right there in front of them. The caveat: never use less-than-perfect sample of your product in your window display, as this will be the first impression you’ll make on your potential customers. Anything that people will see on your window display will be assumed to be your normal output, so showcase something that is truly exemplary that will ‘wow’ any passer-by. The window display should effectively send a compelling message about the kind of high-quality products you offer. Use Wise ‘Sayings’ to your Advantage People don’t forget a wise quote or a morsel of wisdom, such as “Life is just a mirror, and what you see out there, you must first see inside of you.” So if you can associate your products with popular sayings, you’ll be able to promote your products by word of mouth. Create a 3D trophy (or a series) featuring your best designs and use them to display a compelling or witty saying—something that people will read on a grey morning and be inspired.
