China is one of the biggest fashion industry in the world and that is considered as the competitive country in an internationally acclaimed brands and designers with great designing skills. Long time ago, China’s fashion regarded as conventional for everyone because of its styles and designs which known for a fact as an outstanding fashion trend for them. In this modern age, China’s fashion becomes more dynamic and develops with great entity as well survives with the prosperity that will pass from generation to another. With its cunning in developing of clothes which embrace by their people is the best to start for the new era of trends (outfit) in China. In the Portico rooms of London in Sommerset House of last September, Huishan Zhang a fashion designer, born from Qingdao, China and graduated at Central Saint Martins manage to watch his creations that are displayed and paraded by the models at the Fashion London Week. In his time of studying, he worked for a year at Dior and six months in couture atelier where he founded his label upon graduation that has a signature of “Chinese tradition meets Western influence and modernity”. He had the trademark piece of Cheongsam dress that he had a collection and according to him it embodies the feminine and sexy of the Chinese culture and traditions and yet, it still remains as congenial in arraying the Western styles and twists for new design elements. At the age of 30, Zhang was renowned for his artistry in designing a traditional Chinese clothes with influenced of prevalent matured styles. During his study in England, his fall and winter collections was sold in London store only for a month. Among his proud creations was blouse, double layered lace of Chinese and silk brocade, as well dresses and coats. According to an ambassador of British Fashion council and a contributing editor of US Vogue, Sarah Mowner, Zhang is a young designer with a great aspect of combining the styles and designs of the East and West in which she wants to hear about it. With Zhang’s pride in bringing the Made of China’s fashion styles that gives attention to society. Last month, a Fast Company business magazine in New York managed to put the name of Zhang’s at the top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Styles and quoted as China’s pride for fashion. Zhang’s team conducted a worker in his abode in Qingdao which they pull a fabric with a manufacturer in a bulk order only in which they preferred as cheap and qualified for future uses. In this modern age of 21 century, China desire to be known as an iconic fashion nation with unique and alteration for clothes, not only as a dominating country but to create a brand that might compete for becoming victorious in every label with names in the world. As well, to form a distinction in every speck of fashion in the world of imitation goods. With a law which strictly prohibiting in imitating goods which government still fighting for it in order to vaporize this illegal activity that gives a falling debris in every fashion industry with prominent names. According to Eric Lee, a Shanghai managing director of JWT, designers from China must target the consumers’ desired when it comes to their mood and likes. They have to develop a product that connects with the heart of the society also said by Jane Rapley, a former head of Saint Martins School of Arts and Design. Since, right now, brand names and design were not a fundamental in Chinese process, admit by the managing director of British consultancy little dipper, Christine Losecaat. Like Huishan Zhang, who aware of this, gives an important and substantial facts that designers must have a strategical idealism of making a dynamic creation which public might find it as the new trend for their taste.
