So your friend has shining, white and straight teeth and you don't. Even though nobody around you makes a fuss about it but the way they affect your looks makes you unhappy. Ah braces! Another reason why you are still bearing the ill effects of malocclusion. It is a known fact that wearing braces is not a cakewalk. Most patients dread of being seen with them. Their metallic look makes for an awkward appearance. But the fact is – they push teeth to their proper positions. So, can't you just bear with them for sometime? In simpler terms, nobody other than the one wearing them gets even a whiff that the person they are talking to is undergoing dental treatment and is wearing braces. It is because they are fitted to the back side of the teeth which hides them from the view. . So, the choice is yours. You can either choose an invisible one or a clear one. It must be noted that the latter requires extra care because there is always a chance of damaging the material from which they have been made. Also, one has to be careful to not stain them otherwise they will not only become more noticeable but also cast an ugly look when speaking or talking. These braces are suitable for all ages.
