Althogh I've only played 27 holes with these Titleist AP1 712 Irons, I can already tell that they are the highest quality clubs I've ever owned. I've had Callaway, Ping, and Cleveland sets and these are the best. The stainless steel body and high-density tungsten sole weight in the Titleist AP1 712 irons for sale offer increased forgiveness and feel, with a slightly different look. When you "flush" a ball, it just takes off. The off-center hits go pretty well also. They are easy to get up into the air. The 712 AP1s have a traditional head-shape with a bevelled topline aimed to improve confidence at address. Titleist have managed to increase the MOI (Moment of Inertia) by 4% creating more forgiveness in the long irons, and higher ball speeds on off-center hits throughout the set. The progressively reduced blade length means improved feel and control with the short irons. At address the heads look a little more compact and the topline appears thinner. The sweetspot is not as big as the AP2 712 irons for sale as yoiu would expect but the offset is smaller and this is an iron ideally suited to the low handicap player. The new AP1s still demanded an element of consistency in strike, especially in the longer irons but if I secured a set, I'd probably take Titleist general manager Steve Pelisek's advice and invest in complimentary hybrids to replace them. In looks, I liked the confidence-inspiring top line and the profile of the clubhead at address. Compared to some clubs in the 'forgiving' category it was more elegant yet more sympathetic to the needs of the 12-handicapper. I've never been a great chipper of the golf ball, but the pitching wedge is easy to hit. I am even getting the ball close to the hole. I'm looking forward to a summer full of golf with these irons.
