About the Community This is a community which many seniors are dying to own a home in, especially because it has won so many awards for its architectural design. Inspired by Mediterranean Sea Villages and Aegean hill towns, this community, sports red-tiled roofs and white stucco walls, covered in bougainvillea. Ocean Hills is an age-restricted, gated, extremely safe community featuring 1,632 single-family detached homes, townhomes, and condominiums. Prices of homes in this community range from $250,000 to $600,000. The community is comprised of 8 “villages” with 17 different floor plans. Some homes appear older in appearance while some are newer and are facilitated with new upgrades and finishes. You have a choice of selecting homes with either 1-car garage or 2-car garages depending on the floor area of the home. Amenities at the Community The focal point of the community is the 27,000 square foot community center that houses a workout room, billiards room, arts & crafts studio, a Wall Street clubroom, a sewing room and a woodworking shop etc. The community center also features one of the largest ballrooms that enable entertainment for special events. Outdoors, you will find the Olympic-sized swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, walking and biking trails and many more. About the Builder The first phase of Ocean Hills was built by a building company known as Leisure Technology Inc. However, in 1992, after the economic downturn, the building of 19 more homes was taken over by a small housing developer, MSK. 13 unfinished homes were sold to Kaufman and Broad and, finally, the completion of the homes in the community was taken over by Ryland Homes. By 1998, all homes in this community were complete. Despite the change of builders, the community can guarantee that all homes were built to perfection, and in compliance with the standards, as all the builders were reputable ones with high professionalism.
