Treat the Athlete's foot by applying accurate healing methods

Health
Athlete's foot is the most common ring worm disease which occurs between the toe areas. It usually affects the skin of the foot and creates irritation, inflammation and scratching problem. The red eruption may create a scaly and patches between the toes. The medical name of this skin condition is known as Tinea Pedis. The fungus which creates this disease has been identified as a Trichophyton which grows in humid and dark environment. The disease mostly occurs in sports person as the fungus requires a moist environment, such as the areas inside of a shoe in order to grow and athletes wear shoes for a long time, so from their sweating, the fungus start to grow and creates this disorder.

Causes
The fungi that cause the disorder athlete's foot may found in many locations such as gyms, swimming pools, security lines of airport, locker rooms, nail salons, and from unhygienic clothing and socks. Athlete's foot is a contagious disease, so it may spread directly from one person to another person by contact. Most of the people get this fungal infection in their feet when they walk without sleepers or shoes. In humid environment, the fungus finds favorable condition and thus starts their life cycle.

Symptoms
The toe areas of feet become scaly and red which produce pain in advance stage. Skin may be removed from the affected areas which may create tingling and irritation with burning sensation.

Treatment
By applying some precautions and home remedies, the Athlete's foot can be treated in a very accurate manner. Some of the methods have been described as below:

•Walk always with sleepers or shoes especially in humid regions and clean your socks at regular basis to avoid any fungus infection.

•Clean your feet with soap and cleansers regularly and always keep it dry.
•Use antifungal creams and lotions between the toes.
•You can wear cotton socks after cleaning your feet.
•You can also use dilute clorox soaks, vinegar soaks and shampoos on the affected areas to avoid infection.
•Trim your nail frequently to prevent any kind of toe nail infection, as most of the fungi enter through the pores of nails in feet.

Prescribed treatment
Doctors recommend some powders-the medicated powders like miconazole or tolnaftate (Tinactin), that can help to keep your feet hygienic and dry. You can apply a drying solution of aluminum acetate like Domeboro solution to soak your feet. The dilute solution of white vinegar can also be used to treat Athlete's foot disease.

They can suggest you some antifungal creams and lotion such as Spectazole (miconazole), ketoconazole shampoo, Lamisil creams, sprays and clotrimazole (Lotrimin). You can ask your doctors to recommend you the creams and lotions which don’t create any side effects after applying on the infected skin.
