He attributed the reasons to the economic slowdown, declining exports and slow down in the construction and manufacturing sectors. He also maintained the view that the business airfares are likely to rise in the countries such as Russia, India, North America and Latin America by some margin. He took the China’s position as surprising because of it being the world’s second number economy. He emphasized the china case in the supply and demand principle because of the change in the capacity of this country. Stance on the Poor Negotiations and Mismanagement He has always believed that the right travel packages should be opted by the corporate world and there so not be wastage of a single dollar. In the interview in 2009 he was of the view that 22% of the company hotel bookings is made outside the corporate policies and nearly $550 million are overspend each year by the corporate companies In addition, he took the stand that 40% of air bookings by the business companies including hotel reservation are booking rooms separately. He always supported the view that there is always enough revenue for the companies to be saved and returned to the bottom line.
