With the mounting importance on environmental consciousness, people have become increasingly ground- breaking on ways to save and secure Mother Earth to recover from the ill health that is global warming. One of the most used and important methods is the use of eco-friendly bags to supernumerary or break down on our consumption of plastic bags. However, not everyone has wedged on to this trend and unavoidably we find ourselves coming home with loads of plastic bags we don't quite know what do with. Plastic bags are multi-purpose bags made from polyethylene polymer. They are also perfect as trash bags during journeys. Strength, toughness, versatility, and variety are some of the key gains of plastic bags. Polymer has to be stiff for a given period of time and also have to withstand certain severe conditions if exposed to. For this a special polymeric bag has to be manufactured. Plastic is such a thing that on degradation it causes harmful effects not only on human beings but also on the marine animals. It has been found that many fishes have died cause of the consumption of degraded plastic bags thrown as waste in the water bodies. So care has to be taken while using such plastic bags. Alternatives have to be thought of for reducing the pollution. Paper bags have replaced the plastic to some extent but not totally. Paper bags (Papirove Sacky) are made up of cellulose of trees. The pulp of trees undergoes many processes to make paper. Paper bags are bio degradable bags and thus cause no harm to the animals if they intake it. But yes, cutting of trees to large extent again can be a problem to the nature. So the government has to impart certain laws in order to save the nature. Bags can be printed with company’s name and logo for promotional purpose. Different coloring bags can also be prepared by adding certain additives while processing the bag. These additives make the bags more attractive and thus the selling is more. Bags are used for many purposes and choice has to be made while purchasing for what purpose you are using the bags and what all facilities you need.
