Clearing IIT JEE entrance exam demands a lot of hard work and cracking the exam is nothing less than a difficult task. Even some of the most intelligent students fail to score well in the exam, which opens doors of many prestigious institutes located all across the country. From planned study sessions to group studies, candidates leave no stone unturned to get a good score in the entrance exam. JEE entrance exam is not like board or school exams where a few hours of study will make you shine. It is a huge competition and one needs to prepare themselves both mentally and physically for it. Here are a few exam preparation tips, which will help you study with a better approach and great mindset: - A student should not only concentrate on their 11th and 12th class syllabus, but should also go through their syllabus for classes 9th and 10th as well to get a good score. After all, clearing this exam needs extraordinary efforts and is not something for an ordinary person.
- A student must give importance to all three subjects rather than just revising and re-revising their favorite one. It is a false notion that some of the subjects are scoring, while others are not. At the end, performance in all the three subjects will count.
- Engage yourself in problem solving every single day, be it for Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics.
- Don’t waste hours at a stretch to solve a single problem for which you can’t find the solution. Leave it for a later date, or it will be wise to take help from your school teacher or tutor to find an answer for the same.
- Always prepare notes, especially for important formulas.
- Learn special tricks and short cuts to solve various kinds of problems. This will help save a lot of time, which will be bonus when you sit for the exam.
- Try and stimulate real examination conditions which should make you feel as if you are sitting in an examination hall. For example, don’t move from your desk for 3 hours, like you would in an examination hall and solve questions.
- Pay extra attention to subjects or topics that you haven’t covered properly or are not confident about.
While preparing for IIT JEE, time is precious. Regular hard work is the key to clear JEE entrance exam with flying colors. Being one of the most prestigious exams, JEE preparation requires a lot of intense training, which needs to be clubbed with a firm determination and strong will power.
