What makes Goa beaches an ultimate paradise for vacationers is the eclectic mix of nature, adventure and contemporary delights that they boast. Advance booking of your travel facilities is recommended! I was in Goa last month to have a short holiday with my brother. We spent a really good time there. Goa is an ultimate spot for holiday: stupendous coastline, glorious monuments, delicious dining and even much better shopping. I just loved the way Goa treats different category of people in different way. My brother loves peace, serenity and most importantly a quiet corner of nature. I, on other hand, am a kind of adventure freak who never ever leaves opportunity to indulge with some risky stuff. Thankfully, we were in Goa – a good time was had by both of us and the evenings ended having a delightful dining at some Goa restaurant together. Goa is a small state, and most of the tourist attractions here are in vicinity. Around 100 miles long coastline boasts more than 35 beaches, which are different with their unique essence. The North Goan beaches like Anjuna, Calangute and Bags are vibrant and happening, and hence are idyllic for a fun-lover like me. South Goan beaches like Agonda, Candolim and Arpora are tranquil and less travelled, and are perfect for a solace-seeker like my brother. Getting around in Goa is not a hassle, as you can easily pick up a motorbike on rent and can go one beach to another within a matter of minutes. Shopping is a pleasurable experience in Goa, but make you’re not bothered by that noisy sounds made by local shop-keepers to grab visitor’s attention. If you’re a bargain hunter, then the flea markets at Goa beaches are the place to go. The Wednesday Market at Anjuna and Friday Market at Mapusa have become quite a tourist attraction. We bought some beach clothes from Anjuna market on very first day the trip. Nightlife around the Goa shoreline is splendid; in fact eye-opener for first timers. The late night parties and fire shows at the beaches give memorable excursion. Other than that, there are a bunch of night clubs, discotheques and pubs to make your after-evening time rocking. Most of Goa bars offer good quality of dance, drink and dining. A few much preferred options for night out in Goa are the Tito’s Road, Cleopatras, Cafe De and the Log Cabin. Well, one of some great reasons why I love to visit Goa again and again is its marvellous section of commendable dining avenues. Restaurants here offer a gamut of delicacies to please your belly God. There are more to the South Indian food than idlis and sambar. Similarly, the chefs in many of the Goan restaurants know it well how to cook the best North Indian Paneer tikka, Dal Makhani and chicken curry. Some global food chains offer their specialized dishes and never fail to delight all those of you gluttons. Since a large number of backpackers are heading to Goa in hordes, it is obvious that the state boasts applaud-able tourism facilities.
