Optimizing your website is part of online sales training and is a way to grow your business before pouring too much money into advertising. It is also one of the most crucial aspects of online marketing; and one of the most overlooked. Grow your online business by improving the look, appeal and true measure of your website. Keep your money in your pocket. Improve your customer's experience rather than paying for advertising to drive more traffic to your website. This is an excellent strategy. Do not neglect your good business ideas by ignoring the following optimization tips. Below are 3 things you absolutely must do for your online business. 1. Make your content easy on the eyes by keeping it easily 'skimmable' and scannable. Be sure to have bold subheadings throughout your articles, so your reader can tell at a glance what the article is about and whether they want to read more. Keep every paragraph to a maximum of five lines. Break your paragraphs up even if it is not what you would do for an offline article. Reading online is different from reading a magazine or book. The extra white space is easier on the eyes and will encourage your visitor to keep reading. 2. Your visitor is wondering, "What is in it for me?" What are you offering them? Will they receive a gift? How are you letting your visitor know that you are available to help them? What will they receive if they give you their email address? Have you thought about how easy or hard your site is to navigate? 3. Make decisions based on data. Tracking data will tell you what works well and what bombs. You may think you have a beautiful page, but your visitors are not enticed to stay. What can you do? There are plugins and programs, at no charge, that can give you a lot of information about what is working on your site; and what is not working. What you can measure, you can expand. Incorporate these 3 things into your site and your conversion rate will improve. The conversion rate is the number of visitors to your site that stay long enough to accept your offer or make a purchase. Remember to keep your paragraphs to a 5 line maximum, attract your visitors with an irresistible offer, and enlist the help of a data tracker. writing an essay
