Intermittent fasting is a very new concept. A recent study has concluded that it can help with weight loss, but there is a lot of skeptical people out there. I think it is great to see people actually have some standards and not jump onto the next fad diet until they have all the right information regarding it. I decided to take some time to do a little investigating and give you all the information related to, as well as my opinion. What is intermittent fasting? Well, intermittent fasting is actually a pretty old concept, it just got shoved into the spot light because of a recent study that showed people lost weight on it, had better health, and were believed to live longer. It's actually quite simple. For a 24hr period, you're allowed to eat anything you want, no matter how greasy or sugar filled it is. The next 24hrs you go on a fast. The cycle repeats just like that. The idea of fasting does seem scary, but I have a way of looking at things and breaking down walls of prejudice. If you look at a more primitive human, I think you get a better idea of what we're naturally made to do. Do you think as human beings we're supposed to eat 3 meals a day, every single day? Probably not. If you look at the caveman, they would would have a very different diet than us. Eating would come down to if an animal was caught. Catch an animal, you get to feast. Don't, you go without. I think this really does show that it is natural. It is probable that our bodies are designed specifically for this particular type of eating.
