Writing an effective resource box is your ticket to more leads and sales. Article marketing is becoming the most effective and easy way to market your business online... and build relationships with qualified prospects. This is a strategy that isn't that hard and if done right, will bring your great traffic and leads. You don't have to be a genius to make article marketing work. So you're writing articles and distributing them to the top article directories... but are you making sure to optimize your author resource box? What good will thousands of article views get you if your author resource box doesn't convert those visitors to leads? I've written lots of articles about optimizing your article body... but now I'm going to dive into the steps for creating the best author resource box... one that works! Here's what you should do to write more effective resource boxes: 1. Don't write a book here. OK... your visitors read your article, liked it now they want more information. But how can they get it if you have an author resource box that's three pages long... they'll just close the page. So what can you do to stop this from happening? How about writing a really short and to the point resource box? 2. Don't worry about talking about yourself here... that's for your author bio. Instead, focus on creating a simple call to action that convinces people to click through to your website. Something like, "To get your hands on my brand new book 'How to Become an Accomplished Deep Sea Fisherman' click here" Do you see how this is really short and entices the readers to click through to the website to download a free copy of his book? 3. Follow your article directories guidelines. If you want to ensure that your articles get published and your website gets traffic... you need to focus on following the rules. If you send someone to a website that is not relevant to the article topic... chances are that your article will be flagged. 4. Use anchor text in your links. Something that many people overlook when writing their author resource box is to use anchor text. Using this allows you to really ensure that your website is getting quality backlinks. Backlinks are what determines the page rank of your website... and the more quality links you have... the better chance you have of coming up on the top search engine results for your chosen niche. custom written research paper
