Thus, the international team of Vital Voices, composed of more than one thousand associate member, experts and leaders who work for the organization for free - including government executives and non-governmental organizations - has delivered leadership tools to more than 12,000 women in 144 countries of Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean and the Middle East from its founding in 1997. Women Vital Voices which directs its education and empowerment efforts, have returned home to train and be mentored over 50 women, youth and children in their own countries, thus becoming the true Vital Voices of our time.
