Now there are such security devices that are intelligent enough to recognise their masters as actively portrayed in science fiction movies. They are employing features of the human body like the retina of the eye and the finger print scan to authorise the genuine personalities and provide them some privileges over the rest. For time being these systems are restricted to the field of research and development only. But the rapid development in their fabrication is providing evidences that they are not the thing of too distant future. After a few years we may be witnessing their capabilities and applications in our homes and offices. The next prominent development in the security devices is the Biometric systems. These systems are the devices that will be linked to all the existing security devices for their lock and key combination management. You no longer need to by heart your safe codes and locker combinations. You can make you body your password through these systems. The employment of such intelligent technologies is promising a future that will be free from any kind of disaster. Not only will they protect us from the threats arising out of the activities of anti-social elements. But will also protect us from the natural calamities like fire, flood, earth quakes etc. So what we should look forward is to future where all the gadgets we saw in the science fiction becoming a reality.
