A Portion of ComForcare Home Care’s revenue will be directed to non-profit organizations to support senior health research, education, and care efforts. Indianapolis, IN, December, 2012 - ComForcare of North Metro Indianapolis has pledged to give a portion of their revenue generated from home care services to support three specially selected non-profit organizations. These organizations include the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the American Cancer Society. “We at ComForcare believe it is our duty to give back and have a positive influence on our community,” says ComForcare N. Metro Indianapolis owner, Ryan Murray. “We are proud to support these three outstanding organizations which do so much to support senior care and health.” The organizations were selected because of their positive impact on the health and well-being of seniors and those battling chronic conditions including heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, or cancer. The home care agency supports the mission of the American Heart Association to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The American Heart Association does this by funding research, creating medical guidelines, and running advocacy and educational programs. The organization has been an incredible resource for home care providers and clients and millions of Americans. ComForcare also selected the Alzheimer’s Association, which works on a global, national, and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Indiana Chapter is committed to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance Alzheimer’s care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Furthermore, another portion of the home care service’s revenue is donated to the American Cancer Society, a nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
