Cade Mcnown was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. From an early age, he was involved in sports and developed a love for the game of football. The injury occurred during a game that the Bears played against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Veteran's Stadium. The field in Philadelphia had a reputation for being uncomfortable for players. During the game on October 22, Cade was running up against the Eagles defense and was brought down by Mike Caldwell, the linebacker. His shoulder was slammed so hard onto the turf, that his shoulder separated, and it was his throwing shoulder. This type of injury requires physical therapy in most cases. It can be painful, and should be treated promptly by a doctor. Luckily for Cade, his rotator cuff was not damaged. He had to wear a sling and follow doctor's orders in order to heal. During his brief professional career in football, he made a total of sixteen touchdowns. The separated shoulder injury caused him a great deal of trouble over the years, eventually requiring surgery.
