It will be a real deal if you are successful to provide your Yorkie puppy a salon grooming at home. It is an admitted truth that Yorkie puppies are so sensitive and they cannot bear insufficient cleanliness. They should remain clean and neat in order to survive healthily and it all depends upon the owner that how they groom their puppies. How neat your puppy is dependent upon how much do you love your puppy and the extent to what you are crazy about it. You must spare some time so that your puppy can adjust himself/herself with the new environment. Stress and tension is harmful for little dogs. This point is often ignored by many people. That’s the reason for what they remain fail in grooming their puppies themselves. It may take a week or sometimes more. If your puppy is not fully adjusted with you or with the environment, it is rarely possible that you can do it yourself again. You will not dare to have a try even. When you feel that your doggie is enough familiar with you and the new environment, you may go for puppy’s training session such that it may prepare himself or herself about what is going to happen with him/her. All that should be done in a possibly peaceful manner keeping in mind, “least tension and max happiness”. After observing it fully familiar, you can go to plan a bath session for your puppy. During bath, Yorkie puppy must be handled with the extreme care. Carry your puppy with soft hands and do not handle it with hard hands. If you plan to use brush, you may use it but always use very soft brush thoroughly. If you observe any knot within the hairs, it must be treated a whole gentle manner. Do not snatch it as it is harmful for puppy’s hair and skin as well. It may cause hair and skin allergy. After rinsing your puppy well from water, prepare your puppy for shampoo time. Do not use human shampoo, doggie shampoos may be available at stores easily. It is taken in a little quantity. Thoroughly massage the shampoo on the puppy’s hair, take care for the eyes and nose. Puppy should be wet with light warm water. Water should be bearable for the sensitive skin of your doggie. It must not be destructive for its skin. After massaging the shampoo thoroughly, rinse your puppy well with the water. Make sure that all the shampoo is gone out of the skin and hairs. Brush his/her teeth carefully and take care for the brush and dental cream choice. Never ever use human dental cream, doggie cream is available in the market. Toe nails must be trimmed after bath is taken, because nails are softened after taking bath. Nails of your Yorkie puppy must be trimmed and filed carefully. It is not a problem if you find bleeding from the nail corners. After taking bath, thoroughly comb the hair of your puppy so that all the particles must be out of it.
