“A dress maketh a man”, goes a very famous adage. True to it, most of the people today give a lot of emphasis on their attire and how they present themselves in front of others. We love sports, be it on the television, or for some sports lover going to the stadium and watching a match as well. Any sport or game requires the participants to wear a particular type of uniform. Jerseys and jumpers are therefore a part of the sports culture too. In a live match that you watch on the field, the fans come up with various, creative ways to show solidarity to the teams they support. Wearing football jerseys of your favorite sports star is one way many fans show love and support. Waving placards and chanting names also one way. Nowadays, the popular tradition is gifting jerseys to the near and dear ones. They make excellent gifts for many as most people love it if they are given a jersey having their favorite sports star’s name or their numbers. For genuine sports lovers, a sports jersey can be a souvenir. The popularity of the sports jersey in today’s young market is mainly because they can be teamed with any kind of dress material, either jeans, or trousers or even denim shorts!
