There are numerous types and models of limousines available for hire today, ranging from the Hummer and Escalade, to the more common Lincolns, and up the scale to the classic Excalibur and Rolls Royce. Hummer limos are the “big boys” of the limo line. They are large enough to accommodate up to twenty-five people, with extravagances such as a poker room, karaoke machine, casino tables and even a hot tub aboard! The more ordinary features include stereo, mirrored ceilings, champagne bars and video games. Obviously, they are very conspicuous – eyes will pop when you pull up in one of these! The “Party Bus” is an excellent choice for club-hopping or a bachelor/bachelorette soiree. They’re roomy enough to include lots of friends, and they’re really trendy looking – some even come in flashy colors like hot pink, orange, or green. For a more sedate, classy occasion, a Lincoln limousine, or Town Car, will add a nice touch of elegance. The Town Car provides an excellent mode of transportation for corporate to-do’s, or meetings. Lincoln limos or Town Cars are all equipped with the traditional features - vanity mirrors, floor lights, and plush carpeting. Sedan limos are ideal for discreet travel. They are long on comfort and luxury, yet tend to blend in with the traffic, not to draw attention. Stretch Limos are usually an expanded form of a large-size sedan. They’re stylishly up to date, with the typical frills. You can hire one to seat six, eight, or ten people, perfect for a few friends or colleagues. Super Stretch Limos are for larger groups, great for wedding parties! For greater comfort, and accessibility, companies that build these limos are putting in five doors/wide rear doors, a real plus when it comes to the issue of wedding or prom dresses. Super Stretch Limos are “super” popular, so book well in advance. SUV Limos are probably the most versatile. They’re great for families, since they tend to be “kid-friendly,” with DVD headphones, satellite television, and WI-FI hook-ups. Some models usually associated with the SUV line are the Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, or Cadillac Escalade. There are two chairs in front, two middle chairs, and a back bench seat, which can be put down to make ample room for luggage/sports equipment. There is also a stretch version – the 200 model can seat 24! Antique Limos are popular choices for upscale events , when “money is no object.” They are normally vintage, something like a 1937 Cadillac, or a 1963 Bentley. A distinctive choice for a wedding or special celebration. Whichever model limo you choose, you’re bound to have an eventful time, and a great ride that you’ll never forget!
