Unlike other avenues of advertising traffic exchanges will not having you applying for loans to fund your marketing efforts. Traffic exchanges offer cheap advertising. A lot of internet marketers rely on traffic exchanges as their bread and butter when it comes to advertising on the web. They put together slick splash pages, which are a webpage designed to get your viewer to sign up for a newsletter or ask for more information about a product. Your splash page must be short and sweet and must hook the reader within a few seconds since your average traffic exchange user is going to be furiously clicking through pages as quickly as possible to earn credits. You may want to consider embedding a streaming video of you pitching your product or streaming audio can also be used. I've surfed a few exchanges and seen a lot of various sites and I must say that some were extremely professional looking and polished and others looked terrible to the eye. Using Google AdWords to build up a client base can prove extremely risky and expensive since you have to purchase certain search phrases and you get charged every time someone clicks your ad and visits your site. If your site isn't streamlined to produce a lot of sales you can quickly lose your shirt. Using traffic exchanges is a risk free way to test out marketing concepts and see what works before committing huge amounts of money to a business. Of course if you're going to use a traffic exchange I'd highly recommend signing up for the best membership on the site, so you can actually get enough credits to work with. I've tried surfing the exchanges for credits, and I found it time consuming and frustrating. However doing so is always a necessary part of using a traffic exchange because it allows you to learn about what sort of sites are on the exchange. You want to keep an eye on the competition to get an idea of what they're up to and what you're up against. Also if you notice a segment of the marketplace which is not being exploited to it's fullest you can also jump in and make a tidy profit. Traffic exchanges have been around since near the start of the world wild web and are here to stay. Make sure you sign up for the top membership so you can get the best ratios and commissions and then make sure to use your mailing lists and business contacts to sign up as many people as possible to the exchange so that you can get bonus credits. That's basically what you need to do if you're using traffic exchanges. So get out there now and make that money. jesse grant thunder bay, thunder bay jesse grant
