The tips include wearing sun protection including a wide-brimmed hat, UV-protected sunglasses and sunscreen of 30 SPF or higher applied throughout the day. The home care service also recommends that seniors limit their time out in the sun during the peak hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ComForcare wants everyone to know the signs and symptoms of dehydration including red or hot skin without sweat, headache, dizziness, nausea and confusion. The home care service reminds clients to drink plenty of water, especially before and after outdoor activities.
