Condominiums have been known for its collection of recreational facilities, including swimming pools, gyms, and sports complexes, which made these types of housings unique in business and commercial districts. Condominium complexes can also offer these facilities, but with the addition of several other facilities that aim to accommodate the needs of growing children, such as recreational parks and playgrounds.
