How on earth do you write 100 articles on police reports? You find 100 completely unique angles that nobody's ever though before! It's that simple. Come on, do you call yourself a web content writer or what? Sorry, just kidding. The truth is that we're often called upon to write WAY more on a given topic than one writer's brain can withstand. When in that situation, you can use article templates to make it all easier. I want to stress that article templates aren't a lazy ghostwriter's way out of using your natural creativity or a way of cutting corners. They're ideas to help you keep things original and fresh when your creative juices are running dry. There is a head-spinning number of article templates out there, so I'm going to share just a few of my favorites with you, and then I'll tell you how to start your own list just like I did. Myths And Facts This is my all-time favorite probably. Take a bunch of common misconceptions about your given topic and destroy them point by point. For example, I'll take my favorite topic on earth - Japan. Myth: In Japan, there are vending machines on street corners selling the undergarments of high school girls. Fact: There are no such vending machines in most areas of Japan. High school girls must be politely asked for their undergarments. It's local custom. Of course, you can then expand each of your "facts" to include any number of points, benefits, ruminations and so forth. Things You Didn't Know About Such-And-Such Take a few of the most truly surprising things about your topic and tell the reader what they don't know. This is one that you can have a lot of fun with, but I warn you: The points have to actually be a little bit surprising. Otherwise it's just kind of silly. Quiz Template Everybody loves taking quizzes. No matter how mundane a topic is, quizzes are interesting and they're also fun to write. I wouldn't recommend this for any sensitive topics like breast cancer or estate planning. But for something that's a little bit light and upbeat, this is great. Frequently Asked Questions The nice thing about FAQ's is that the information is short and to the point. You don't have to have a whole article unified by one idea. Just take every little bit of information you've found and put it all in. These are also great for the final article of a job. If you've just done 9 articles on investing, you've got an investing FAQ with at least 9 questions that will pretty much write itself! The Old Way Versus The New Way I've found this one useful for lots of topics. Whatever you're writing about is the "new" way. You can make the old way sound like a dull, useless pain in the butt. This is another way of identifying the reader's pain - the pain of the old way. For example, payday loans: Applying for payday loans used to mean getting in your car and driving to the scary part of town where their offices were always located. You had to pass your ID and other documents under the grill and wait for your info to get processed, all the while wondering if your car was being broken into. Now, you can do it all online from the comfort of your own home. You can be stark naked and drinking a beer if you want!... 9 Ways To Come Up With Your Own Templates Finally, there's the "X Ways" template. Actually anything with a number is good. Number articles tell the reader exactly what they can expect from the article, whether it's 16 Secrets To Maintaining Perfectly Shaved Eyebrows, 7 Tips For Better Spider Breeding, or 4 Things To Consider When Barricading Your Home Against A Zombie Invasion. When there's a number, the reader knows the article can't be all crap; there have to be at least 4 actual tips to help keep the zombies out of your home. And I'm sorry, but I don't have 9 ways to come up with templates. That was just an example of the "number" template. But I do have one really good way that's all you really need: Go to any article directory and skim article titles in any category. If you can search for the most popular articles, that's the best. Write down all the new ideas you find as templates and give them a try. I say that you should give them a try because you don't always know which ones are going to work best for you. The only way to find out is to do some writing with them. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I now have 84 different templates saved in my "Templates" file. And no, you can't have them! custom essays for sale
