The SA-BM (bench mounted) Scroll Bender will form a variety of scroll sizes out of up to 3/16" by 1" hot rolled mild steel flat. It will also form scrolls out of " round and square stock. This unit will work independently of the UB-5H and the UF-25H. This allows it to be used as a separate work station, leaving the UB-5H and UF-25H free for making other bends. A lot of nice ornamental projects can be made with this scroll bender by the beginner. UB-5H Bender The UB-5H Universal Bender will bend pipe up to 1-", round tubing up to 1-5/8" in diameter as well as square tubing up to 1-". It will also bend a wide variety of flats, solid rounds, and squares for your various projects. This bender is the same bender and has the same capacities as the one that comes mounted on each UF-25H Universal Fabricator Press with Handy Bend and storage cabinet. The UB-5H Universal Bender uses all the same tubing die sizes as the UF-25H Universal Fabricator. As shown above the UB-5H Universal Bender comes complete with hydraulics mounted on a pedestal, less optional tubing dies. If you don't need the press and the Handy Bend that comes with the UF-25H, then less expensive UB-5H will give you an economical way to still do some serious metal bending. While scrolls can be formed on both unit's with the Scroll (bender) Attachment, the UB-5H shown above can be outfitted with the optional Picket Twister and Basket Attachment. Each UB-5H Universal Bender comes with a Lock-N-Stop Gauge for making precise repeatable bends. Once you use start using the Lock-N-Stop Gauge you will soon realize the importance it plays in determining and making repeat bends. The Lock-N-Stop Gauge, with its engraved numbering system, not only gives you a way to repeat your bends, but it provides you with a way to record bends for future reference. This unit is made up of a SA Scroll Attachment and a bench mount stand. The SA Scroll attachment can be purchased without the bender mount stand and used on both the UF-25H and the UB-5H. UF-25H Universal Fabricator The UF-25H Universal Fabricator was designed to form a wide variety of flat stock, solid rounds, solid squares pipe, round tubing and square tubing bending operations in one machine. The multiple space-saving bending features on this metal bending unit makes it very handy where space is limited. One of the most common compliments we get from shop teachers is how little space the UF-25H takes considering its multiple bending capabilities. The combined functions of the UF-25H in one machine makes it similar in its usefulness to the ironworker, which became very popular when it combined punching and shearing in one unit. The Handy Bend Press Break included with each unit bends heavy mild steel hot rolled flat bar stock up to 4" wide by " in thickness. The Handy Bend is useful for bending heavy metal bar stock such as those used in the making of, or repairing, of trailer hitches, construction and farm equipment.
