One of the most popular Jersey tourism attractions is walking - and it's little wonder why. Despite measuring just nine miles by five, the island is home to a wealth of great terrain. However, all that hiking is certain to see you build up an appetite by the evening. Luckily, there are many high-quality restaurants in Jersey, with a lot of them boasting sea views for you to enjoy as you sample the sumptuous cuisine. So, what better way to reward yourself at the end of a long day walking in Jersey than by booking a table at one of these five establishments? The Bulwark This restaurant and guesthouse is situated in the popular town of St Aubin, right next to the harbour. Expect a relaxed atmosphere here, where you can watch the boats coming and going and the street lights twinkling in the water's reflection. There is an extensive wine list so you'll easily find a bottle that complements your meal, whether you opt for roasted butternut squash with Jersey Royal potatoes, lamb stew or grilled sardines. On Sundays, a special roast dinner menu is available. The Beach House This St Brelade establishment is housed within a particularly striking building, painted blue with a huge 90-seat terrace and a glass front, which means you can still make the most of those stunning views even when you are sat inside. You may find your attention is captured by what's on your plate though, as the food here is truly sumptuous. You can order a selection of tapas dishes such as crispy salt and pepper squid and lemon sole goujons if you want to sample several flavours, or treat yourself to an a la carte meal like herb crusted fillet of brill or corn-fed chicken. El Tico This is the place to come if you're after a little spice, as the dishes here take cuisines from India and Africa as their inspiration. Specialities include east African spicy curry, while you can also come in for breakfast as it is open from 9am. Of course, El Tico also has some beautiful vistas of the ocean for you to enjoy as it's located on the beautiful west coast in St Ouen's Bay. Don't worry if you've just stopped by from the beach, as this is a casual joint. Roseville Bistro Come here of you want a warm welcome and the chance to dine at a cosy family-run eatery. Roseville Bistro on the Havre Des Pas seafront is close to the beach and a popular spot with those holidaying in the Victorian resort. The dishes on offer here take full advantage of Jersey's wealth of delicious local produce, so try treats like crab cakes, seafood chowder or sizzling scallops cooked with spring onions and crispy bacon. Sumas If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to come. Sumas restaurant in St Martin has some of the best views on the island, not only boasting a vista of Gorey Bay, but also Mont Orgueil Castle behind it. While you can expect the menu to include many local ingredients, it has a Mediterranean flair which makes the fusion on your plate really unique. Try the Angus rib eye steak with mushroom stroganoff or loin of venison with vanilla and white wine-poached pear. If you set out on your coastal walk early, stop in for breakfast - the eggs Benedict is sure to perk you up! Want to know one of the best Jersey tourism attractions?
