The Bachelor's eight season featured Dr. Travis Stork, an impressive ER doctor who was both good looking and intelligent. He graduated magna cum laude from Duke University and earned his MD at the University of Virginia . However, it seems like the show is truly unlucky, as like the other Bachelors, he could not find the right woman to settle with. He later on met Sarah Stone on the show, a school teacher who turned out to be residing a few blocks away from his home in Nashville . Unfortunately, contractual obligations restricted the two from communicating until the entire season aired, and thus his romance with Sarah died out as soon as it began. Today, Dr. Travis Stork is taking on another milestone in his life, as he had just written a new book entitled "Don't be That Girl: A Guide to Finding the Confident, Rational Girl Within." He recently spoke with WKRN/Nashville, and explained why he wrote the book. "At the end of the day, I realized that I could write a book and explain the male perspective and why we do some of the things we do," Stork said. Stork is also a regular on The Dr. Phil Show, and last week, he served as a guest to promote his new publication. While there, he outlined the types of girls any woman wouldn't want to be. These include The Agenda Girl, The Yes Girl, The Drama Queen Girl, The Bitter Girl, The Insecure Girl, The Desperate Girl, The Working Girl, or The Lost Girl. Stork also told Dr. Phil that his experience on The Bachelor has made him learn a bunch of new things. "I think that when you’re the bachelor, you’re forced to constantly observe women and try to figure out ‘Is what they’re doing endearing or not endearing? Are they sincere or are they insincere?’" he said. Aside from the book's release, Stork is also busy with a national book tour that took off in New York City on January 8. During each leg of the tour, he reads excerpts from the book, meets fans and gives them an opportunity to sign their purchased copies. Upcoming dates for the tour are as follows: January 16 in Chicago , January 17 in Dallas , and January 19 in Denver .
