Other than attending staff meetings, writing and grading quizzes might be the least enjoyable part of teaching. And quiz plays an important part in learning and social games. Educators have been using quiz to test how much the subject matter has been grasped by the students. there are some tools that can make the process a little bit easier. Here are three tools teachers can use to create and administer quizzes online. Zoho Challenge is a part of the Zoho suite of document, presentation, and office productivity tools. Zoho Challenge is a tool that allows you to create and administer quizzes online. Zoho Challenge tests can be written with multiple choice or open-ended questions or a combination of both. Tests created with Zoho Challenge can have a time limit imposed or be given without a time limit. Each test can be individually assigned to test takers. Finally, when a test is created with Zoho Challenge the quiz maker can decide whether or not the test taker can see the results. In June of this year Zoho Challenge introduced an option for including comprehensive questions that you can use to write questions based upon a paragraph statement, an image, or a combination of both. Testmoz is a test generator that provides 4 question types, automatic grading, a really simple interface and detailed reports. Testmoz is free, and does not require you (or your pupils) to register. You can build a fully functional test in about a minute. 4 Question Types available are: True/false, multiple choice, multiple response, and fill in the blank questions. Reports let you see the scores, averages and actual responses to questions. You can even export the data. There are no advertisements, banners, or popups. Your tests are password protected – however you must copy your link down somewhere – but be aware there is no facility for retrieving passwords or lost links to tests you create. ThatQuiz lets teachers create quizzes based on some subjects (mainly maths) where the teacher chooses the area of work, specific topic within that area, difficulty level and whether to have a timer enabled. ThatQuiz then generates a quiz based on these choices and the teacher copies the code for that quiz and pastes it into their own blog or website for their pupils to access. All users have access to all of the tests without registration. Pupils do not require to register but there are additional features for teachers - registration is free and teachers who register receive complete record-keeping of pupil scores. They have access to more precise test-generation tools, can create single tests with questions from different categories, can create matching and multiple choice questions, and can access a public test library.
