One needs to cut both pieces of fleeces at the same time. 4. The perimeter of the blanket is measured around. The designers usually measure and mark 2 inch increments by using tailor’s chalk to mark the interval. 5. After that the manufacturers cut the each 2-inch mark to a length of 5-inches. As a result fringe is created around the edge of the blankets. 6. The fringe stripe is tied together. Usually the strip from the top piece of the blanket to the corresponding strip from the bottom piece of the blanket is tied together. 7. Finally the pairs of strips around the perimeter of the fleece blanket are knotted. Adding Pictures on the Blanket: Adding pictures on the blanket also takes very little time and it is an inexpensive and easy to personalize your photo fleece blanket. Pictures are added on the blanket in the following ways: 1. At first the picture is selected that one would like to add on the blanket or photo quilt. Generally the pictures are chosen that are not too dark without small detailing. 2. The pictures are reversed or mirrored by using computer’s photo program. 3. Iron transfer paper is inserted into the printer and the images are printed. At this time, always one should print in colors in order to pick up all the shades as well as details. In case of a color laser printer, digital images are used. 4. Finally the blanket is ironed on the images delicately and with air dry so that the pictures do not peel.
