The Excel National Bank certificate of deposit rates for the standard CDs are different than what they are offering for the IRA CDs.
The current CD rates include the 3 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.30%. The 6 month CD is earning an APY of 0.40%.
The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.65%. The best CD rates are from the 2 year CD that is earning an APY of 1.01%.
All of these standard CDs require a minimum deposit amount of $10,000. For deposit amounts over $100,000, the CD rates are the same.
The IRA CDs have better rates. The minimum deposit amount for those CDs includes the 1 year IRA CD that is earning an APY of 1.05%. The 3 year IRA CD is earning an APY of 1.40%. The 5 year IRA CD is earning an APY of 1.90%.
These CD rates are available for both the traditional IRAs and the Roth IRAs. The minimum deposit required for these CDs is $500.
All of the stated CD rates are fixed for the life of the account along with the terms of the investment.
