Yaz-Yasmin is a birth control pill manufactured by Bayer pharmaceuticals. It was the first contraceptive pill to contain drospirenone. Yaz-Yasmin is an oral contraceptive pill. It stops egg release from ovary, thickens uterus and cervical lining in a woman, thus causing prevention of pregnancy. Increased risk of Blood clotting Use of Yaz-Yasmin could lead to increased risk of blood clotting. If these clots move to lungs, they could cause pulmonary embolism. These clots can form in deep veins anywhere in the body. Increased risk of Heart Attack Prolonged use of Yaz-Yasmin could lead to increased risk of Heart attack.
