The Nokia 6500 Slide mobile phone with a silver and black coloured casing comes with easy to use imaging features that brings a fun element to mobile telephony. The mobile phone measures 96.5x46.5x16.4mm and weighs 123 grams, that makes it light weight handset that is easy to hold in hands and carry in pocket. The handset has an expandable memory option that allows the user to expand the phone memory upto a massive 4 Gbytes using a MicroSD™ memory card. It has a battery of 900mAh capacity that provides the user with upto 320 hours of standby time or upto 6 hours of talktime from a fully charged battery. The mobile phone supports EDGE and 3G technology that provides the user with a fast data transfer and connectivity handset. The Nokia 6500 Slide handset comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss™ lens and 8 x digital zoom that allows the user to get a close-up shot every time the camera is used. The auto focus feature allows the user to capture a clear shot and the double LED flash allows the user to capture the perfect lighting for the photo. The user can comfortably save, send and share the photos bringing an element of fun into it. The handset comes with an integrated FM radio feature complete with visual radio which allows the user to listen to the favourite radio station whilst interacting with the onscreen information. This model handset has a built-in music player brings a private music experience to the handset. The Nokia 6500 Slide supports push email facility which provides the user with a direct email service on the mobile phone. This technology allows the user to send and receive emails with attachments. The multimedia messaging service, popularly known as MMS, allows the user to easily share the photos and video recording with other MMS compatible contacts.
