Life on earth is like a vapor that appears for a little time and then evaporates. No matter how wealthy or healthy you are, your stay on this cosmos has an expiry date and every day that passes by brings that final day closer than ever. Life on planet earth is short and transient. Despite the shortness of life here, it fortunately offers you an ample opportunity to make good of the brief time allotted to you. In other words, while you may not be able to do much about the ultimate length of your life, you can certainly do a lot about its depth. You can take the responsibility and make it a masterpiece - so much that, when your sojourn here is over, your laudable, labors, laurels and legacies will continue to live on, inspiring, challenging, enlightening, empowering and enriching people. To make your life a masterpiece is to make it positively productive, immortally influential and exceptionally enriching. It is to spend every day of it for something that will outlast it. Note this carefully - live is not about how long but how well. A well spent life is long enough, irrespective of the number of years it was lived. Methuselah is an example of a man who lived as long as 969 years, and that's all we know about him - his age, not his achievements; his name, not his noble deeds. There are people who seem not to be blessed by longevity of life but whose impact and influence are written indelibly upon the hearts of generations of men and women, example: Martin Luther King, Jr. In contrast to Methuselah, Moses lived for only 120 years, yet has numerous pages of the Bible and other good books describing his life and deeds as a masterpiece - from birth to life. You also have a choice to make about your fleeting stay on earth. Incidentally, whether you like it or not, you are actually making a choice, writing your own life's story on daily basis. Life is too short to let its course be determined by fate or chance. You must consciously determine to make your life count 24/7. I could do with you knowing that a life that will be a masterpiece is one in accordance with a definite purpose, upright intentions, and great vision. Let your life count to all who come across you from day to day. You are created for something significant. You are made for a definite purpose, seek it, find it and live it. You cannot afford to be a mere statistical reference in the history of this world. Do not just exist - make your existence justifiable; do not just live, make your life a masterpiece! You must choose to be a valuable asset in this day and age.
