Twitter is one of the most widely-used social networking sites nowadays. A lot of people of any age are engaged on this media and actively participate daily. They exchanged information around this network and share various topics under the sun. Without a doubt twitter has been a part of our daily lives than a mere social site. It has been a way to socialize, promote and share awareness among people all over the world. With these facts in mind Cafe24 has come up with the idea of allowing Twitter to be embedded on a Cafe24 site. This is also a part of Cafe24 Roadmap The implementation is made easy for the convenience of the users. To have your own Twitter section in your website install and activate the Simple Twitter plugin. 1. Go to Extensions Menu and click Extensions. 2. Look for Simple Twitter then Install. 3. Activate the extension through My Extensions Page. Simple Twitter’s Settings 2 Ways to Access Settings 1. Through the Main Menu Tab click Simple Twitter Menu. Hit the Settings button at the upper right corner of the page 2. Through My Extensions Page then, Click Settings of Simple Twitter. In order to have tweets available in your page your twitter id is required, you can also adjust the number of tweets displayed and the color scheme. Template can either be Blue or Gray in color. Save Button will save and apply your preferences. Changes will automatically be applied in front site while Reset to Default will roll back all changes. It will trigger the settings to return to its default values. Coding Simple Twitter is easy. So first and foremost you need a webpage wherein you will be placing your extension and let it is seen in the front site. Since this is only a Plug-in you can insert it to other webpage than make an individual page. It doesn’t need an expert in Programming Language to insert extensions in your website. The following example is a generic one and can be copy and paste to your own. This is the exact code you’d need to place the Simple Twitter in your site. After coding your Extension’s Page, make a New Menu where your page can be accessed. So, first add a Menu on where you want to place your Simple Twitter. Usually this is displayed in the Home Page or the Blog Part. After putting your Simple Twitter block in your website, your site visitors can now view and be updated through your tweet stream.
