Alcatraz is a phrase deeply ingrained within our cultural consciousness like a supply of mystery and curiosity, so it seems fitting that J.J. Abrams and Elizabeth Sarnoff, two of the genius minds at the rear of the equally enigmatic "Lost," would choose to tackle the iconic island for an additional high-concept Tv collection. "Alcatraz" (premiering Mon., Jan. 16, 8 p.m. Orient on Fox) might be missing smoke monsters and roman policier bears, but there are still lots of inquiries to be answered, as HuffPost Tv uncovered once we visited the Vancouver-based emerge October.
